The Worend Empire
The Worend Empire is a loosely assembled collection of castles, cities, working keeps, farms, and other signs of civilization seated by ../CityOfRodrothdar, the capital. The Worend Empire is the nexus of ../PlaneOfExis, and by far the largest area by population (excluding the dead denizens of the ../CityOfTheDead). The majority of the population are serfs, working the land granted them by their lords, with the Emperor as the high lord.
This portion of Exis is the most civilized; while not many fiefs can support an adventurer's lifestyle in trade, lodging and farm equipment can commonly be found, and commerce is easily found in the larger cities. Smaller skirmishes against citystates not in the Empire have resulted in the borders being dynamic; sometimes an area may have expanded beyond the reach of an Imperial fort or keep and have to assemble their own militia, or more rarely, unofficially at the mercy of a closer citystate.
Outside of what is generally considered the Worend Empire are a number of smaller citystates, commonly too disorganized to assemble more than enough land to sustain themselves.
