Mercran
Mercran, known as The Gateway to the North, is a moderately sized town in the ../NorthernWastes and the northernmost major establishment along ../MeshandamilsPath before beginning its route to the ../CityOfTheDead to the east.
Owning to its distance from the ../WorendEmpire and its relative proximity to ../StrangeOne establishments, Mercran has relatively few ties to the Empire, with the notable exception being the merchants, who often rely on Imperial goods and trade. The town is administered by the inherited rule of descendants of ../EliasMercras, who founded Mercran in 213.
A number of ruins dot the landscape around Mercran, leading to the belief of some that the town is perhaps the remnants of a larger, failed settlement or Imperial fort.
